Welcome to there.org, coming to you from the lovely shores of Lake Champlain in Charlotte, VT.
The blog content consists of imported posts made to LiveJournal between 2002 and September 2011, plus new local material since that date. I intend to add in selected content from earlier versions of there.org dating back to the early 90s as time permits. I'm the only one posting at the moment but other members of the Lord/Mollo clan may join in; in particular, Calvin has been working on a comic strip and we may host it here.
All banner and incidental images used on the site, unless otherwise noted, were created by me between 1995-1998 using various Mandelbrot, Lyapunov, and spectrum convolution image generators running on SGI Indigo hardware. They were generated algorithmically, not drawn, and given the limitations of the R4000 chip they took between 1-6 hours to render. I am perhaps unjustifiably proud of many of them.
